What we’ve delivered in 2025 (so far…)

27/08/2025

So far in 2025, we’ve introduced 40+ new features and improvements.

We’ve been working hard to add value to every area of the application, delivering change based on your feedback.

These are the highlights.

✨ New questions and customisation

We’ve added more flexibility to help you design surveys that truly connect with your audience. With new question types and customisation options, you can ask the right things in the right way.

Here’s what’s new in Build:

Rating question. Released April 2025. We’ve introduced a new Rating question type to make surveys more engaging and visual. Instead of only text-based scales, you can now let respondents score statements using numbers, stars, or smilies.

Ranking question. Released August 2025. With the new Ranking question, respondents can drag and drop options by preference — whether it’s top priorities, favourite features, or what they’d choose first. It’s a simple, interactive way to see what really comes out on top.

Other option. Released April 2025. Sometimes the best answer isn’t on the list. With the new “Other” option, respondents can add their own response alongside your predefined choices, giving you richer insights.

Custom theme. Released June 2025. Make your surveys truly your own with the new Custom theme editor. You can now fine-tune colours and styles to match your brand, organisation, or personal preference.

🚀 Smarter tools to launch and share your surveys

Reaching your audience is now simpler and faster. From launching and embedding surveys to sending reminders, our new tools make it easier to share and keep responses flowing.

Here’s what’s new in Distribute:

Launch page redesign. Released July 2025. We’ve streamlined the Launch page to make starting your survey quicker and clearer. The new design puts the most important options front and centre, so you can launch your survey with confidence.

Reminder emails. Released April 2025. We’ve introduced the ability to customise and send separate survey reminder emails. This will help you manage your respondent list more effectively and allow you to create separate copy for invitations and reminders to help with engagement.

Copy unique URLs from the Respondent list. Released March 2025. We’ve made it easier to get the right link to the right person. From the Respondent list, you can now copy a participant’s unique survey URL directly, saving time when you need to resend or share access.

Survey embed code generator. Released February 2025. Want to host your survey directly on your own site? The new embed code generator makes it simple. Copy an iframe snippet and drop it into your webpage, so respondents can complete the survey without ever leaving your site.

📊 Better ways to dig into your responses

Understanding your survey data is just as important as collecting it. That’s why we’ve focused on giving you clearer, more flexible ways to work with your results. From simple downloads to at-a-glance statistics, these updates make it easier to turn responses into insights.

Here’s what’s new in Analyse:

Statistics. Released April 2025We’ve added an enhanced Statistics view. Now, you can view mean, median, minimum, maximum, range, variance, and standard deviation for quantitative questions at the touch of a button.

XLSX responses download. Released June 2025. Exporting your data is now quicker and more flexible. With the new Excel download, you can take your survey responses straight into a familiar format for deeper analysis and reporting.

🗂️ Easier ways to stay organised

Staying organised is easier when you have the right tools. This year we’ve worked on helping you manage your survey list with less effort. From adding clear internal names to cleaning up old projects

Bulk survey delete. Released February 2025. Tidying up your dashboard is quicker than ever. With bulk delete, you can select multiple surveys at once and remove them in just a few clicks.

Survey bin and restore. Released February 2025. Accidentally deleted a survey? No problem. Deleted surveys now move into the bin, where you can restore them if needed — giving you extra peace of mind when cleaning up your dashboard. Now, you can:

  • Recover surveys from the survey bin with one click.

  • Retain deleted surveys for 30 days before permanent removal.

Dashboard name. Released May 2025. Keep track of your surveys more easily with internal dashboard names. These labels don’t appear to respondents, but they make it simpler for you and your team to recognise and organise projects at a glance. Now, you can:

  • Add an internal name that’s only visible in your dashboard.

  • Distinguish between surveys with similar titles.

📝 A smoother experience for your respondents

A positive respondent experience means better data for you. That’s why we’ve made improvements that help participants pick up where they left off, or safely store their survey link for later. These updates reduce drop-off and make completing surveys effortless.

Here’s what’s new for respondents:

Automatic resume. Released August 2025Respondents no longer need to worry about losing their progress if they close their browser mid-survey. Thanks to automatic resume, their responses are saved in the browser and restored if they return within 30 days. Now respondents can:

  • Automatically return to the exact page where they stopped—no extra links, no hassle.

  • Give respondents control to “Start again” if they’d prefer to restart their survey session.

Email Finish later links. Released February 2025. We’ve made it easier for respondents to return to a survey using a Finish later link. Respondents can now send their link to themselves by email, so they are less likely to lose it.

🛠️ Admin tools to manage users and access

Control and oversight are key for Admins. We’ve introduced new tools that make it easier to manage users and survey access, helping you keep your organisation’s account secure and organised.

Here’s what’s new for Admins:

User permissions page. Released June 2025. Admins can now see, at a glance, which surveys each user can access using the new User permissions page.

“No permissions” tag. Released June 2025. To make survey access clearer, a new “No permissions” tag now appears on your dashboard whenever a survey has no user permissions assigned. This helps you spot and resolve access issues quickly or identify orphaned surveys that need to be deleted.

Deactivate users. Released July 2025. We’ve introduced the ability to temporarily suspend a user’s access to your account. Now, you can:

  • Deactivate users without permanently deleting them.

  • Retain their surveys and data safely in your account.

  • Reactivate the user when appropriate.

What's next in 2025?

Over the next couple of months, we’ll be introducing our third new question type for the year: a File upload question that will enable respondents to upload PDFs or images with their response.

We’re also working on a new way to help you understand your survey results even better. Survey insights will highlight key trends and response patterns automatically.
