Choice question
The Choice question is a closed-ended question type that lets respondents select from a defined list of answer options.
You can set the question up to allow your respondents to select one answer or multiple answers.
Adding a Choice question
To add a Choice question to your survey:
- Click the Add new item button on your survey page.
- Select Choice.
- Enter your question text.
- Add your answer options.
- (Optional) Toggle on Multiple answers if you want your respondent to be able to select more than one.
Before you distribute your survey, make sure you preview the design to see what it will look like to your respondents.
Question settings
There are three handy toggles at the bottom of the question editor to customise the question in the following ways:
- Make the question required
- Make the question a multiple answer question
- Randomise the answer options for your respondents
